Nasdaq-listed Aurora Mobile Ltd shares jumped 120% after the Chinese customer engagement and marketing technology specialist said it has the newly launched DeepSeek R1 artificial intelligence into its platform.
DeepSeek launched its R1 large language model at the end of last week to the consternation of investors in western AI supply chain companies like Nvidia, ASML and co, whose shares were selling off sharply on Monday.
Aurora Mobile said it has added R1 to its GPTBots.ai general-purpose enterprise AI bot, which it says can be used by corporate customers to replace 'rule-based' chatbots, improve user experience and reduce costs.
The platform aims to enable businesses to integrate robots into existing applications and workflows.
"The integration of DeepSeek R1 underscores GPTBots.ai's commitment to providing businesses with cutting-edge AI solutions tailored to enterprise needs," Aurora said.
The addition of DeepSeek, which claims to be more efficient and cost-effective than other well-known LLMs, to the existing line-up of LLMs on GPTBots.ai, including OpenAI, Azure, Meta Llama, Mistral AI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Ali Qwen and Zhipu GLM, means users can select the most suitable option for their business needs.
