As a precautionary measure, however, the company has relocated its field operations, including helicopter support, to Bukavu.

Rome's drilling activities are continuing as planned, it added, with three rigs currently operational and drilling across the Mont Agoma and Kalayi prospects, also situated 200 kilometres from Goma.
A fourth drill rig is undergoing routine repairs and operations remain as scheduled.
