Learning Technologies Group PLC (AIM:LTG, OTC:LTTHF) said that new policies introduced by President Trump will have a marked impact on revenue and adjusted EBIT at US subsidiary Affirmity in 2025 and beyond.
Affirmity generated revenues and earnings of $21m and c.$10m respectively in 2024, with LTE adding it will now assess how to meet the needs of its extensive customer base.
"Ongoing macroeconomic and political uncertainty continue to affect the decision-making of the group's customers and reduce the budgets allocated for LTG's technologies and services," said the statement.
While the LTG Board remains confident in the long-term outlook for the business, it anticipates that such headwinds will continue to affect the performance of LTG into 2025 with revenues excluding Affirmity to be flat, the statement added.
LTG added that the meeting for shareholders to vote on the scheme of arrangement for its acquisition by Leopard UK Bidco will be held on 6 February 2025.
