Quadrise PLC (AIM:QED) is now ‘fully funded’ for around the next eighteen months, at least, as the small-cap cleaner fuels company advances multiple opportunities from trial to commercialisation.
It confirmed on Friday morning that the firm’s equity raise was well-backed by investors, with the share sale both upsized and oversubscribed, securing some £4.5 million in a placing that had targeted £3 million.
Paragon Banking Group PLC (LSE:PAG) delivered another upbeat trading statement, sending shares in the specialist mortgage lender up by 1.5% to 774p.
Buy-to-let has been an area of uncertainty even with the previous government, but FTSE 250 constituent Paragon said it had not seen any impact.
Burberry Group PLC (LSE:BRBY) surged on Friday after third-quarter figures appeared to put to rest jitters around the struggling luxury brand.
Though sales declined by 7% to £659 million, Deutsche Bank analysts noted the third quarter had been “much better than expected”.
