Reyna Silver Corp CEO Jorge Ramiro Monroy joined Steve Darling from Proactive at the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference or VRIC.
Monroy shared with Proactive more about the company’s progress in its 2024 drilling program at the Gryphon Summit Project in Nevada. The project spans 12,058 hectares (29,795 acres) of land rich in gold, silver, and critical metals, where Reyna Silver is earning a 70% interest.
Monroy highlighted that the 2024 drill program marked a milestone as it targeted carbonate replacement deposit (CRD) mineralization at Gryphon for the first time. The technical team reported promising findings in the Union area, where CRD mineralization and pathfinder elements were identified, overprinted and surrounded by gold mineralization indicators. Similar associations of silver and gold mineralization were also encountered at the Sadler target area, further bolstering the project's potential.
The drill program included eight holes totaling 2,413 meters of core drilling from five pre-permitted drill pads on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and patented claim ground. Of these, three holes were drilled at Union and five at Sadler, covering only a small fraction of the extensive claim package.
Monroy emphasized the significance of these early results, which highlight the potential for large-scale mineralization at Gryphon Summit. Reyna Silver’s exploration efforts are focused on unlocking the project’s value while expanding the understanding of its mineralization systems.
