KEFI Gold and Copper says it's received interest from a few parties for its 15% share in its Saudi joint venture, GMCO. This follows a strategic review of its Saudi interests. GMCO was also selected as one of six companies for the Kingdom’s Exploration Enablement Program.
In other resource news, HeLIX Exploration is upgrading its helium reserve estimates for the Rudyard Project in Montana. The company also plans to raise £4 million through an equity issuance, with funds earmarked to support a gas processing plant.
Turning to the biotech sector, ANGLE PLC says it's optimistic about 2025, after booking £2.9 million in revenue in the last period. The liquid biopsy specialist expects revenue growth this year to outpace the 31% increase seen in 2024.
Meanwhile, Iofina has announced record iodine production in 2024, with a 13.4% increase on the previous year. This achievement was powered by strong output from its seven IOsorb plants in Oklahoma, including its newest facility, IO#10, which reached full production in September.
Finally, Empire Metals is strengthening its management team with the appointment of Phillip Brumit as a non-executive director. Brumit brings significant experience from companies such as Freeport-McMoRan and Lundin Mining, to support the Pitfield titanium project in Western Australia.
