OKYO Pharma Ltd (NASDAQ:OKYO) has announced the receipt of $1.4 million in non-dilutive funding.
The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company is developing novel therapies for neuropathic corneal pain (NCP) and inflammatory dry eye disease (DED).
This funding will support the company’s ongoing research and development efforts, with a primary focus on advancing its lead program, OK-101, designed to treat NCP, a condition with no FDA-approved therapies.
OKYO said the financing will allow it to strengthen its pipeline without diluting shareholder value.
“Securing $1.4 million in non-dilutive funding marks an important milestone for OKYO Pharma. This financial boost will significantly contribute to our mission of developing groundbreaking treatments for ophthalmic diseases,” OKYO Pharma CEO Dr Gary Jacob said in a statement.
“Importantly, this funding supports our ability to continue creating value for our shareholders while advancing our clinical programs. We remain committed to driving innovation and delivering solutions that improve patient outcomes.”
