NEXE Innovations Inc (TSX-V:NEXE, OTC:NEXNF) has announced a third purchase order from Bridgehead Coffee for its BPI-certified compostable coffee pods.
NEXE currently supplies Bridgehead's Centro House and Bytown Boom coffee blends in compostable pods.
Having penned a two-year master manufacturing deal with Bridgehead in December, NEXE said the latest deal reflected growing market traction of the eco-friendly pods.
“We believe the continued positive response to these products indicates a market for sustainable coffee solutions and in particular, the NEXE BPI-certified compostable coffee pod,” NEXE president Ash Guglani commented.
“Our compostable pods offer a seamless brewing experience while addressing environmental concerns, which [...] makes them a perfect fit for conscientious consumers.”
Bridgehead, which operates 17 coffeehouses in Ontario and is a wholesale partner to the likes of Costco, sells the pods at select Farm Boy retail locations and online.
“This collaboration supports our efforts to build momentum and scale as we move into 2025,” Guglani added.
