Nextech3D.ai unveils AI-powered photography studio customer win

Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) has reached a milestone by securing a first customer for its artificial intelligence-powered photography studio.

Marmi Stone had engaged Nextech3D.ai to create lifestyle product photos and 3D models using the platform, the company said on Tuesday.

AI-generated photos would be sold to the stone goods firm for $13 to $20 each, in order to showcase products from across its over 200-strong range, Nextech3D.ai added.

“Marmi Stone's trust in our AI-powered photography studio validates the potential of our technology to replace the traditional photography industry,” Nextech3D.ai chief executive Evan Gappelberg commented.

“This collaboration is just the beginning, and we believe that the market for AI-driven product photography is substantial and fast growing.”

Nextech3D.ai noted traditional photography could be time-consuming and costly, especially for companies with large catalogs.

Automating the process could deliver “stunning results at a fraction of the time and cost,” though, it added.

“Our solution offers a scalable, affordable, and high-quality alternative for businesses of all sizes, and we are excited to expand further into this market,” Gappelberg said.

Shares of Nextech moved higher on the announcement, adding 6.7% shortly after markets opened in Toronto. Its US-listed shares gained almost 4%.
