Dan Barnholden, CEO of Luca Mining Corp, joined Steve Darling from Proactive at the Vancouver Resources Investment Conference (VRIC). Barnholden, who has been in the CEO role for about six months, provided an update on the company’s key assets, including its producing Campo Morado project.
Campo Morado is a polymetallic VMS mine that produces copper-zinc-lead concentrates with precious metals credits. Barnholden shared exciting news about the commencement of exploration drilling at Campo Morado. This marks the first meaningful exploration program on the property since 2014. The focus of this drilling campaign is to add mineral resources to the near and medium-term mine plan.
In addition to Campo Morado, Barnholden also provided an update on the company’s Tahuehueto project, though further details were not shared during the interview.
