Dan Wilton, CEO of First Mining Gold Corp, joined Steve Darling from Proactive at the Vancouver Resources Investment Conference (VRIC) to provide updates on the company’s key assets and recent exploration successes.
Wilton discussed the latest results from the 2024 Phase 3 diamond drilling program at the Duparquet Gold Project in Quebec. The program led to two significant new gold discoveries:
The Miroir Zone, which returned 3.12 g/t Au over 19.35 metres during expansion drilling at the Valentre target.
The Aiguille Zone, located south of Valentre, which yielded 8.99 g/t Au over 3.1 metres.
These discoveries are prompting the company to plan expanded drilling programs to further capitalize on the results at Duparquet.
Wilton also provided an update on the Springpole Gold Project, which is now in the technical review phase. First Mining is committed to collaborating with stakeholders to address questions and comments as part of advancing the project.
