Proton Motor confirms AIM departure to save costs

Proton Motor Power Systems PLC (AIM:PPS) dropped 18% as it confirmed it was cancelling its listing on AIM and will re-register as a private company.

A general meeting is being convened for 7 February 2025 at Puchheim, Germany to vote on the proposal.

The fuel cell developer indicated in December it would be slashing costs to help pay off creditors and continue trading, with de-listing from AIM one of the measures planned.

Shares fell 0.08p to 0.35p.
