Millennial Potash's 1.7B ton discovery in Gabon explained - One2One Investor Forum

Millennial Potash's 1.7B ton discovery in Gabon explained - One2One Investor Forum

Millennial Potash Corp (TSX-V:MLP, OTCQB:MLPNF) chairman Farhad Abasov talked with Proactive at the first One2One Investor forum of the year about the company’s ongoing potash project in Gabon, highlighting its strategic importance and growth potential.

Abasov detailed the discovery of 1.7 billion tons of indicated and inferred potash resources and the company’s plan to increase this to over 3.5 billion tons with additional drilling. He emphasised that Millennial Potash employs solution mining to minimise environmental impact and keep costs low.

Abasov noted that Gabon’s favourable geopolitical environment and proximity to major African markets make it an ideal location for this project. "We are positioning ourselves as African potash for African agriculture," he said.

Abasov also outlined the company’s dual-track approach to development, combining preparations for construction with a potential M&A exit strategy, ensuring flexibility for future growth. The bankable feasibility study is expected to start in mid-2025, with production possible in the coming years.
