Greencoat UK Wind PLC (LSE:UKW) has named Taraneh Azad as its new non-executive director, effective from 1 February.
Azad has 25 years of experience in finance, commercial operations, and business development including senior roles at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS). She is a partner and CIO at Systemiq, advising companies on sustainability and energy transition.
"We welcome Taraneh to the Board. Her deep experience in global energy markets and strategic insight into sustainability and energy transition complement the skillset of our current board,” said chair Lucinda Riches.
