Ocado needs more than a good Christmas to spark revival

For all its UK grocery market share gains, Ocado Group PLC (LSE:OCDO) share price continues to trundle along near historic lows.

Fans say the grocery performance shows it is moving in the right direction boosted by the tie-up with Marks & Spencer.

But rumours this is an unhappy marriage and M&S wants full control persist despite repeated denials.

M&S produced storming Christmas numbers but was punished for its cautious assessment of what lies ahead in 2025 and a warning prices will go up.

Ocado’s take on that will be worth noting as will prospects for the tech arm, where expansion of robotic warehouses has stalled seemingly.
