Updating on its potential merger with HOOKIPA Pharma, Poolbeg Pharma PLC (AIM:POLB) said the US firm's main shareholder has signalled it will contribute to a planned $30 million fundraising accompanying the transaction.
Gilead Sciences has committed up to $8.75 million. Talks between Poolbeg and HOOKIPA remain preliminary, non-binding, and non-exclusive, with no certainty that a firm proposal or transaction will follow.
