ImmuPharma PLC (AIM:IMM) shares rocketed on Thursday following groundbreaking findings from its preclinical research focused on autoimmune diseases.
The advancements, led by the company’s R&D subsidiary, ImmuPharma Biotech, highlighted novel insights into the mechanisms of autoimmune diseases and enhanced the potential of its therapeutic asset, P140.
Key benefits from the research include improved diagnostic accuracy, better identification of patients likely to benefit from P140 therapy, and enhanced monitoring of treatment responses.
The results point to progress towards personalised medicine for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and other autoimmune diseases, ImmuPharma told investors.
