Balfour Beatty plc (LSE:BBY) confirmed on Monday that it will begin a £50 million share buyback, which it had alluded to late last year.
The infrastructure group said it intended the programme to be completed in the first half of the year.
It suggested further buybacks may be announced, with a total anticipated 2025 share buyback to be confirmed in its full-year results in March.
Shares were little moved by the news, up 0.2% to 455.2p.
