Technology Minerals PLC (LSE:TM1) associate Recyclus Group has been awarded a new contract to recycle end-of-life lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries for a leading online, but unnamed, retailer.
Expired Li-ion battery packs will be sent to Recyclus for processing with its proprietary storage boxes to be used by the retailer for storage and transport.
By providing industrial-scale Li-ion battery recycling and ensuring safe storage and transportation, the programme significantly mitigates the environmental hazards associated with Li-ion battery disposal

In December, shares in Technology Minerals shares soared after 48% owned Recyclus signed a deal with Glencore to supply the mining titan black mass — a key material derived from recycled lithium-ion batteries.
