Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL, ETR:APC) has agreed to a $95 million settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit alleging that the Siri voice assistant inadvertently recorded private conversations without user consent.
The lawsuit claimed that Siri activated unintentionally and disclosed recordings to third parties.
The settlement applies to users of Siri-enabled devices, including iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and other Apple products, purchased between September 2014, and December 2024.
Eligible claimants may receive up to $20 per device.
