Mark Zuckerberg has sold stock Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META, ETR:FB2A, SWX:FB) worth almost $1.4 billion, according to regulatory filings.
The disposals were made through CZI Holdings and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Foundation and were conducted on December 27.
Sold was Class A Common Stock priced between $600.08 and $601.47 per share. CZI Holdings accounted for $864 million of the sales, while the Foundation offloaded shares worth $523 million.
Facebook owner Meta, valued at $1.5 trillion, has seen its shares rise 70% in the past year.
