Shares in ADM Energy PLC (AIM:ADME, ETR:P4JC) fell more than 47% within minutes of being restored to trading on AIM after a six-month hiatus.
It followed the formal posting of both the 2023 annual accounts and the half-year 2024 numbers - the latter showed that investments in JKT Reclamation and Vega Oil & Gas were tentatively positive for the business.
AMD CEO Stefan Olivier said: "The investments in JKT and Vega represent the next phase of the rebuilding of ADM (NYSE:ADM, ETR:ADM). We now have interest in two profitable businesses with significant room for near- and long-term growth and expansion.
"We believe these two businesses will drive ADM (NYSE:ADM, ETR:ADM) to a cash flow positive position as we start 2025 and are excited about plans that will be shared with the market in due course."
After the initial belly flop after relisting (usually normal after a long suspension), the shares pared their losses to trade 'just' 25% lower at 0.3p.
