ATOME PLC (AIM:ATOM) shares were up in Friday’s early deals as it provided an end-of-year update, highlighting its progress on the 145MW Villeta green fertiliser project in Paraguay.
It comes as initial site works, including land clearing, are expected to commence in early Q1 2025.
"We end the calendar year in a strong position to commence construction and deliver FID for our flagship Villeta green fertiliser project within the first half of 2025,” chief executive Olivier Mussat said in a statement.
"We anticipate regular newsflow will start next month with a detailed update which will also include information on our growing pipeline of projects and renewable power related initiatives.
Mussat added: "Closing the calendar year 2024, we view the future with confidence and on behalf of the board, I wish our hard-working teams and loyal shareholders a Happy Christmas and to share with us in a successful new year."
Further updates on ATOME's projects, including new initiatives and developments, are planned for January 2025.
In London, ATOME shares traded around 5% higher in early deals, to 50.06p valuing the company at around £25 million.
