The ASX is set to close 1.83% lower today, sitting at 8,157 points. Over the past five days, the index has declined by 2.08% and now sits 4.2% below its 52-week high.
Credit Corp was one of the standout performers today, with its share price increasing by $1.18 to trade at $16.35.
Deep Yellow was among the notable declines, dropping by 11.92% to $1.05.
The company announced a delay in the Final Investment Decision for its Tumas Project until March 2025 due to delays in cost estimates and quotes for equipment and construction.
Despite this, early works on non-process infrastructure are continuing, with firm offers secured for water and power supply. Deep Yellow reported that it remains well-funded, with $247 million available to progress project development.
All sectors were down at the time of filming, except for consumer staples and industrials. The materials sector and information technology sector performed the worst, declining by 2.27% and 2.15%, respectively.
Among the small caps, Peninsula Energy Ltd (ASX:PEN, OTCQB:PENMF) was as much as 10.8% higher today to $1.18 on announcing the restart of uranium production from its Lance Project in the US.
Ora Banda Mining Ltd (ASX:OBM) rose 3.11% to a daily high of $$0.665 after intersecting the first ore at the Sand King Underground Mine.
Anteris Technologies Global Corp (ASX:AVR, OTC:AMEUF), was as much as 6.52% higher to $9.15, Nova Minerals Ltd (ASX:NVA, NASDAQ:NVA) hit $0.29, an increase of 5.46% on the previous close, Olympio Metals Ltd (ASX:OLY, OTC:COPGF) moved up by 5.41% to $0.039, Arovella Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:ALA) reached $0.195, a rise of 2.94% and Tolu Minerals Ltd (ASX:TOK) lifted 1.91% to $0.80.
