Arizona Gold & Silver reports exploration progress at Philadelphia gold-silver project

Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF) said that drilling at the Philadelphia site has been "very successful," with all holes hitting their intended targets and achieving the anticipated thicknesses or better.

The company currently has two core drills in operation at the Arizona-based project.

Six completed holes are in the sample preparation laboratory, and an additional hole is expected to arrive at the lab shortly.

Drilling at the Red Hills target has intersected thick quartz and calcite veining, with visible gold, confirming the down-dip extension of known mineralization. A third hole is being drilled, with more planned for 2025.

At Rising Fawn, five of 10 planned core holes have been completed, intersecting quartz and calcite veins with visible gold. The mineralization's grades will be confirmed with assays, and the drilling is also investigating a potential plunge in the area.

In addition to drilling, the company has been following up on results from a satellite WV3 hyperspectral survey conducted across the property in late October.

This survey identified several large alteration anomalies previously detected by ASTER hyperspectral data.

The new satellite data, with a higher resolution of two metres compared to the previous 30 metres, provides a more detailed view of alteration mineral distribution.

Notably, the Red Hills target area has been highlighted as a prominent iron oxide and illite-smectite alteration zone, measuring over 600 metres wide by 700 metres long.

The ongoing drilling program is designed to test the western fringe of this large alteration zone, with additional targets identified through the survey expected to be reported in the first quarter of 2025.
