FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX:FFM) has tapped experienced commercial lawyer Laura Noonan-Crowe as general counsel and company secretary, effective January 15, as it eyes the development of its world-class Green Bay Copper-Gold Project in Canada.
Wealth of experience

“She has a wealth of experience in areas which will be increasingly vital to our company, such as our recent listing on the TSX, the transition into project development and continued efforts to build our appeal to global investment institutions.”
With 17 years of experience in the resources sector, Noonan-Crowe brings considerable expertise in Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) compliance, corporate governance and mining mergers and acquisitions.
Noonan-Crowe most recently served as general counsel and company secretary, Australia, for TSX-listed gold producer Karora Resources Inc, where she established the legal function and managed environment, social and governance (ESG) reporting and initiatives for its operations in Western Australia.
Senior legal positions
She previously held senior legal roles at gold mining majors Northern Star Resources, where she served as company secretary to board committees and Gold Fields Ltd. Noonan-Crowe began her career with Minter Ellison Lawyers.
With a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia, Noonan-Crowe has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and holds a current practising certificate from the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia.
She is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Noonan-Crowe will succeed Maddison Cramer, who will step down as company secretary on January 15.
