Critical minerals explorer Boadicea Resources Ltd (ASX:BOA) has formally changed its name to BOA Resources Ltd with the ticker remaining as BOA.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has provided the Certificate of Change of Name to the company, confirming the new name.
This change was approved by the requisite majority of shareholders as a special resolution at the Annual General Meeting held in Melbourne on November 29, 2024.
Whilst there is no change in the existing ASX ticker, the company has received confirmation from the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) that the securities will be listed as BOA Resources Ltd under the ASX ticker code of BOA, effective today, Monday, December 16, 2024.
The Board of Directors proposed the name change to shareholders on the basis that it believes the proposed name more accurately reflects the future operations of the company.
In a notice provided to the AGM, the company said: “This new name aligns with our strategic direction, streamlines our brand and eliminates pronunciation confusion.”
