Falcon Gold Corp (TSX-V:FG, OTC:FGLDF) announced that it has engaged a new drilling contractor for its Great Burnt copper-gold project in Newfoundland following the termination of its drilling contract with CentreLine Drilling.
The company said it had no choice but to terminate its agreement with CentreLine due to significant delays.
"The delays and challenges we experienced necessitated a change,” Falcon Gold CEO Karim Rayani said in a statement.
“Our newly selected drilling contractor brings the expertise and reliability required to meet the project's demands and keep us on track with our exploration goals."
Falcon Gold highlighted that the new drilling contractor, whose information will be shared in a future update, is known for their vast experience in mineral exploration and expertise in handling complex geological conditions.
The company expects a smooth transition with minimal impact on project timelines as drilling activities continue under the new partnership.
All operations at the project are currently paused, with plans to resume after Christmas.
