Orosur Mining shares up 12% after high-grade drill results

Orosur Mining Inc's (AIM:OMI, TSX-V:OMI) share price rose 12% following positive drilling results at its Anzá Project in Colombia.

The latest assay from hole PEP014 reported a significant composite intersection of 75.1 meters at 5.58g/t gold from surface, including high-grade sections such as 13.95 meters at 13.68g/t.

The Anzá Project, now fully owned by Orosur, is strategically located near Medellín with strong infrastructure.

Drilling at the Pepas Prospect confirmed the geological trend and intersected thick zones of mineralisation.

CEO Brad George expressed optimism, noting the findings as a step toward defining the project's potential.

Further drilling is ongoing to expand on these results.

In early trading, the shares were changing hands for 7.76p, up 56p.
