Giyani Metals Corp (TSX-V:EMM, OTC:CATPF) has highlighted its proud sponsorship of the 2024 International Disability Day Commemoration in Kanye, Botswana, held on December 3.
The event, organized by the Kanye District Disability Committee to honor the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities, focused on this year’s theme: “Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future.”
As the event’s sole sponsor, Giyani contributed school bags to children from Segopotso Primary School's Special Education Unit, which supports 75 students with various disabilities. The company also provided meals and refreshments for the children and attendees.
Giyani, which is developing the K.Hill battery-grade manganese project near the town of Kanye, has supported this event annually since 2021.
