Zara, Pull & Bear and Bershka owner Inditex has reported a surge in profit over the year so far and a jump in autumn and winter clothing sales most recently.
Pre-tax profit climbed 9.9% to €5.8 billion (£4.8 billion) during the first nine months of the year, Inditex reported on Wednesday.
Sales grew by 7.1%, or by 10.5% at constant currency, to €27.4 billion, with Inditex highlighting “very satisfactory development both in stores and online”.
“Sales were positive in all concepts,” the company continued.
“We continue to operate with very healthy margins on sales across the different lines.”
Autumn and winter collections had been “well received” most recently, Inditex said, flagging constant currency sales growth of 9% over the course of November and early December.
A two-year plan to expand logistics was also unveiled, with €900 million set to be spent in each of 2025 and 2026 on growing capacity.
