Dynamic Metals reveals Cognac West gold anomalies

Dynamic Metals reveals Cognac West gold anomalies

Dynamic Metals Ltd (ASX:DYM) managing director Karen Wellman talks with Proactive’s Tylah Tully about recent soil sampling results from the Cognac West prospect, part of the Widgiemooltha Project in Western Australia.

Wellman said two strong gold anomalies had been confirmed - Anomaly A and Anomaly B, with sizes of 1 x 1.5 kilometres and 2 x 1-kilometre, respectively.

The anomalies show high potential, with highlights including rock chips grading up to 2,000 g/t from Anomaly A and visible gold in quartz samples from Anomaly B.

Wellman emphasised that these findings refined the company’s drill targets and supported plans to begin drilling in the first quarter of 2025. “These results provide clear targets for our drilling campaign in early 2025,” she said.

Dynamic Metals has had a productive 2024, achieving significant milestones, including the sale of 40% of its lithium rights to Mineral Resources, boosting its cash position to $5.3 million.

This strong funding ensures the company can progress its drilling program and advance additional exploration targets across its portfolio.
