Millennial Potash Highlights 2024 Achievements and Plans for Resource Expansion in Gabon

Millennial Potash Highlights 2024 Achievements and Plans for Resource Expansion in Gabon

Millennial Potash Chairman Farhad Abasov joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share key updates on the company’s progress in 2024. The company has confirmed a significant resource of 1.7 billion tonnes of indicated and inferred potash, derived from just 2% of its expansive 1,200-square-kilometer property in Gabon. A preliminary economic assessment (PEA) projects a robust $1 billion after-tax NPV and a 32% after-tax IRR, ranking among the industry's highest returns. Abasov also highlighted successful financing rounds totaling over $3.7 million, with notable insider participation.

These funds will support crucial initiatives, including an environmental assessment study scheduled for completion by late 2025, and a second-stage drilling program designed to potentially double the company’s current resource estimates. Discussing global potash demand, Abasov underscored its vital role in fertilizers, driven by steady 3-4% annual growth in major agricultural markets like Brazil, India, and China.

Millennial Potash is focused on addressing Africa’s agricultural needs by providing a local source of high-quality potash, aligning with the continent's increasing demand for sustainable farming inputs. These milestones position Millennial Potash as a key player in advancing sustainable agriculture and meeting the global need for essential fertilizers.
