Synectics says profits for 2024 are ahead of expectations, shares rise

Synectics (AIM:SNX) shares traded higher in Monday’s early deals after the security software firm told investors it is trading ahead of expectations.

The company, in a trading update ahead of its annual results, said it expects profit before tax in the twelve months ended 30 November, to be “materially ahead of market expectations”.

Its performance comes amid ‘continued momentum' in the firm’s second half, across each of its market verticals.

Synectics said its order book was strong at year end, at £37.8 million, giving confidence for the new financial period.

It said it ended November with some £9.6 million of cash, plus undrawn bank facilities of £3 million.

In London, Synectics shares were up 30p or 9.9% changing hands at 339.5p.
