Zara, Pull & Bear and Bershka owner Inditex could well be on course to up guidance in third-quarter results next Wednesday, 11 December.
Citing a surge in the clothing giant’s share price over the past month, UBS analysts noted a third-quarter earnings beat and upgrade to its full-year outlook were priced in.
Attention was set to be on any commentary around trading through November and trends over the rest of the final quarter as a result, UBS said.
Number-wise, UBS forecast local currency sales growth of 11.5% over the third quarter, before an 11.0% uptick in the fourth, against wider consensus for 12.0% and 11.6% respectively.
Pre-tax earnings were seen at €2.31 billion (£1.92 billion) and ahead of wider estimates for €2.26 billion in the meantime.
Shares are up almost 42% over the year so far, having climbed by 7.6% in the past month.
