Electric Royalties updates on graphite, lithium, copper, other key projects

Electric Royalties Ltd (TSX-V:ELEC, OTC:ELECF) has released updates on its royalty portfolio, detailing progress across its graphite, vanadium, lithium, manganese, copper, cobalt, and nickel royalty assets.

The developments underline significant steps toward advancing numerous projects under its portfolio.

Brendan Yurik, chief executive of Electric Royalties, highlighted the portfolio's growth and activity: “Now that we have successfully closed our royalty transaction on the producing Punitaqui Copper Project in Chile, we're also excited to share the latest in an ongoing stream of progress across our portfolio, all of which is occurring at no cost to Electric Royalties.”

  • At the Graphite Bull Graphite Project, Buxton Resources confirmed graphite mineralization over 240 meters of strike outside the existing resource at the project in Western Australia. The company expects to update the mineral resource estimate after finalizing assays.
  • At the Mont Sorcier Vanadium Project the operator has secured full funding to complete a feasibility study in 2025, supported by proceeds from the sale of Cerrado Gold Inc (TSX-V:CERT, OTCQX:CRDOF).'s Monte Do Carmo Project.
  • At the Seymour Lake Lithium Project, Green Technology Metals continues a feasibility study with workstreams on mine optimization, geotechnical assessments, and metallurgical testing. Conditional government funding of C$5.47 million has been approved for infrastructure upgrades critical to the project's success.
  • At the Battery Hill Manganese Project, Manganese X Energy Corp (TSX-V:MN, OTCQB:MNXXF) has commenced a drilling program targeting higher-grade, near-surface mineralization. Ore-sorting test results from Germany are expected by year-end, potentially impacting processing and environmental footprint.
  • At the Millennium Copper-Cobalt Project, reassayed samples revealed new graphite potential alongside copper-cobalt resources. Plans include additional mapping, sampling, and drilling to refine exploration targets.
  • At the Authier Lithium Project, Sayona Mining and Piedmont Lithium (ASX:PLL, OTC:PLLTL) are set to merge, with plans to integrate material from Authier into the North American Lithium (NAL) operations. Significant equity raises are planned to fund future development.
  • At the Zonia Copper Project, an amended mineral resource estimate shows 112.2 million short tons grading 0.297% copper in the indicated category, with slight adjustments from previous figures.
  • At the Kenbridge Nickel Project, Tartisan Nickel Corp has begun constructing an all-season access road to its Ontario-based nickel project, funded by a C$1.50 million flow-through financing.

Yurik added: "We've now been at this for almost five years, and many of the assets on which we acquired royalties have significantly advanced during that time.

"For example, we originally acquired the Mont Sorcier vanadium royalty in June 2020 when it merely had a mineral resource estimate.

“Now, its operator has secured Glencore as a partner, completed a preliminary economic assessment (PEA), and announced full funding to complete a feasibility study during 2025, with the project financing process underway.”
