Regency Silver brings in experienced exploration executive to board

Regency Silver Corp. (TSX-V:RSMX, OTCQB:RSMXF) has announced the appointment of Patrick Elliott to its board of directors.

Elliott holds over 20 years of experience in the likes of mineral exploration, project evaluation and resource sector finance and joins the company as an independent director.

He currently serves as chief executive of Forte Minerals Corp (CSE:CUAU, OTCQB:FOMNF) and founded Element 29 Resources, both of which are Peru-focused copper and gold explorers.

Elliot is also chief executive at Lexore Capital, a private resource investment firm, and vice president of strategy at Peruvian copper and gold generator Globetrotters Resources.

“We are pleased to welcome someone of Patrick's calibre to the Regency board of directors,” executive chairman Bruce Bragagnolo commented.

“His experience with porphyry copper and gold exploration along with his public company credentials will be invaluable to the company as we advance our flagship Dios Padre project.”

Elliott, who has more than 10 years of experience in mineral exploration throughout North and South America alone, will also join Regency’s audit committee.
