SpaceX set for lift-off with $350bn market value

SpaceX is reportedly in talks to sell insider shares, potentially raising the company’s valuation to around $350 billion.

This would mark an increase from the $255 billion valuation suggested last month and a 67% leap from its previous valuation of $210 billion in a tender offer earlier this year.

According to Bloomberg, the sale, a tender or secondary offering, allows employees and early investors to sell shares, offering liquidity in the privately held company.

Discussions are ongoing, and details could shift based on interest from buyers and sellers, according to unnamed sources cited by the newswire.

At this valuation, SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk, would solidify its position as the most valuable private startup globally, comparable to some of the largest publicly traded companies.
