Power Nickel Inc (TSX-V:PNPN, OTCQB:PNPNF) CEO Terry Lynch joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share an exploration update on the Lion Zone discovery at the Nisk Project near Nemaska, Quebec. Assays to date reveal that the Lion Zone extends over a strike length of 550 meters, adjacent to an ultramafic rock unit outcropping at surface for 1.8 kilometers.
The winter drill program is advancing westward from the established 550-meter strike length, with step-out drilling at 150-meter intervals. Holes 76, 78, 79, 80, and 81 have been completed, with assays pending, to evaluate the zone’s western extension and the plunging nature of the deposit along strike.
The exploration team employs advanced tools such as downhole electromagnetic (EM) surveys, tracking the mineralized area’s extent, which remains open to the east, west, and at depth. The program includes a substantial 30,000 meters of drilling, with plans to incorporate scientific insights to refine future efforts.
Currently, two drills are active on-site, with a third set to join after the holiday season. The continued progress at Nisk underscores Power Nickel’s commitment to expanding the Lion Zone’s potential and advancing its role in critical mineral exploration.
