Georgina Energy looks ahead to drilling as it completes Hussar well site survey

Georgina Energy PLC (LSE:GEX) continues to advance its Husar project towards a new drill programme, announcing the completion of a site survey.

"Our preliminary site visit to EP513 was highly successful, with all of our objectives achieved and multiple successful results,” chief executive Anthony Hamilton said in a statement.

“Georgina continues on its path focused on re-entering Hussar and bringing Mt Winter to pre-drill as part of our program to develop low-risk helium, hydrogen and natural gas projects in Australia."

The inspection of the Hussar well location, in Western Australia, included heritage monitoring, flora and fauna surveys, and assessments of access roads, an airstrip, and on-site water facilities.

Key findings revealed that infrastructure such as the access roads and airstrip remained in good condition despite recent heavy rains.

The water well on-site was deemed serviceable, with additional potable water sources identified at the nearby Madley 1 well site. The inspections were conducted in collaboration with Low Ecological Services and Traditional Owners as part of an Environmental Impact Study.

The results will be submitted to regulators, DEMIRS, within 10 days to support Georgina Energy's drilling approval application for re-entering Hussar EP513. This submission will also include revised seismic mapping data.
