Trump bump: Stock in drone-maker soars 83% after Don Jr joins the board

Stock in Drone manufacturer Unusual Machines (Unusual Machines Inc (NYSE:UMAC)) flew 83% higher after announcing Donald Trump Jr would join its advisory board.

Trump Jr. praised the company’s commitment to revitalising American drone manufacturing and reducing reliance on Chinese parts.

Shares of the Florida-based company, which debuted on the New York Stock Exchange in February, reached an intraday high of $11.67 before closing at $9.77, valuing the business at $67 million.

Unusual Machines has focused on onshoring production to bolster domestic supply chains.

CEO Allan Evans said Trump Jr’s insights would help advance the company’s mission.
