Blockmate Ventures Inc (TSX-V:MATE, OTCQB:MATEF) announced that its investee Hivello has entered into a strategic partnership with XYO, the world’s largest decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN).
The collaboration aims to enhance the reach of the Hivello app and generate new passive income opportunities for users of both platforms.
Hivello, which recently launched its desktop app in beta, enables users to earn passive income by leveraging unused computing power.
XYO operates a vast network of over 8 million nodes across more than 150 countries, allowing users to earn passive income through its COIN app by contributing geographic data.
Through the partnership, Hivello’s desktop interface will be integrated with XYO’s mobile-enabled ecosystem to provide users with more ways to monetize their idle resources, whether through data collection or computing power.
"Since launching their desktop app earlier in the month, Hivello has seen a strong uptick in users and subscribers. Such interest is only the start of Hivello’s potential as they expand the Hivello partner network through collaborations with leaders in the DePIN space like XYO,” Blockmate Ventures CEO Justin Rosenberg said in a statement.
“In just a few years, XYO has changed the lives of users in developing countries by offering them a passive income source so by combining Hivello’s interface with XYO’s network, we are incredibly excited by this partnership.”
Domenic Carosa, Hivello chairman, described the partnership as a “natural fit.”
“By collaborating with the XYO platform, we are creating a more robust ecosystem where users can maximize their resources and earn while actively supporting the growth of both our decentralized networks,” Carosa said.
