The company has signed a second offtake letter of intent (LOI) with Referenzkraftwerk Lausitz GmbH (RefLau), agreeing to supply 30 MWh of CERENERGY® battery storage in the first year and 32 MWh annually for four subsequent years.
The agreement also includes Altech sourcing green electricity at competitive prices from partners in the region for its planned production facility.
This marks Altech’s second offtake agreement for its CERENERGY® GridPack system, with its first two production years already committed and 50% capacity allocated for the following three years.
RefLau, a joint venture between Enertrag SE and Energiequelle GmbH, is developing renewable energy solutions and energy storage projects to stabilise grid performance and power hybrid energy islands.
The collaboration aligns with Germany's efforts to phase out coal and develop clean energy infrastructure, with the Schwarze Pumpe industrial park serving as a pilot project.
The project integrates wind and solar power with Altech's CERENERGY® batteries to create standardised decentralised ‘Energy Islands’, with planned deliveries beginning in Q4 2026.
