Mike Ashley's Frasers Group (LSE:FRAS), discounter B&M (LSE:BME) and housebuilder Vistry Group (LSE:VTY) are all likely to be demoted from the FTSE 100 at the next index reshuffle.
Index organiser FTSE Russell issued the statement of the indicative changes to the London blue-chip benchmark and the mid-cap FTSE 250 index, based on data as of last Friday, 22 November.
However, the actual changes will be based on market valuations at the close of trading next Tuesday, 3 December, with the quarterly rebalancing changes to be confirmed a week from tomorrow.
Frasers has seen its shares and hence its market cap drop around 17% since summer peaks, amid recent battles between Ashley and some of the group's major investments, Boohoo and Mulberry.
Replacing that trio in the Square Mile's top-flight index will be Alliance Witan PLC (LSE:ALW), Games Workshop Group PLC (LSE:GAW) and St James's Place PLC (LSE:STJ).
They will depart the FTSE 250, where new additions include Deliveroo PLC (LSE:ROO), Diversified Energy Company PLC (LSE:DEC, NYSE:DEC), Mobico Group PLC (LSE:MCG) and Oxford Nanopore Technologies PLC (LSE:ONT).
Dropping into the small caps will be Ceres Power, Close Brothers Group, PZ Cussons and Wood Group.
