Global Energy Metals reports high-grade graphite discoveries at Millennium project in Queensland

Global Energy Metals Corp (TSX-V:GEMC) has announced promising graphite exploration results from its Millennium copper-cobalt-gold project in Queensland, Australia, based on partner-funded drilling and re-assaying efforts by Metal Bank.

These results reveal thick, high-grade graphite intersections from previous copper-cobalt-gold drilling samples, the company said in a statement.

Notable findings include 56m of 18.29% graphite from 66m, 20m of 14.05% graphite from 64m, and 49m of 12.97% graphite from surface, among other significant graphite mineralization.

These results extend over a 2 km strike length and are adjacent to or within the existing copper-cobalt-gold resource pit model.

Metal Bank plans further metallurgical and drilling work to explore the full graphite potential of the project, with additional tests to assess recovery and purity.

“Results like this reaffirm Global Energy’s strategic alignment with industry experts, both technically and jurisdictionally, like Metal Bank such that our company benefits from significant new findings from operator-funded exploration that strengthen an already proven resource in the critical mineral space,” Global Energy CEO Mitchell Smith commented.

“Now is the time to have investment coverage to the raw materials electrifying our future and Global Energy is well exposed through its project, royalty and equity portfolio positions.”

Inés Scotland, Metal Bank executive chair, added: “We will continue to assess graphite potential, including metallurgy and further drilling, to add further value for the Millennium copper-cobalt-gold project.”
