Delivra Health maintains positive adjusted EBITDA as strategic investments drive growth plans

Delivra Health Brands Inc. (TSX-V:DHB) reaffirmed its commitment to growth and profitability, reporting positive adjusted EBITDA for the first quarter ended September 30, 2024.

The company reported adjusted EBITDA of C$16,000, which comes as Delivra ramps up marketing efforts to expand the visibility and accessibility of its products.

CEO Gord Davey told investors that the company is enhancing shareholder value by strategically reinvesting in its core brands—Dream Water, LivRelief, and LivRelief Infused while maintaining a positive adjusted EBITDA throughout fiscal 2025.

Net revenue for the quarter totaled C$3.16 million, compared to C$3.67 million in the same period last year. The 14% decline was attributed to the timing of purchase orders for Dream Water, but the company reiterated its confidence in year-over-year sales growth for fiscal 2025.

Gross profit reached C$1.6 million with a margin of 51%, slightly down from 52% last year, reflecting increased advertising and online sales fees tied to its marketing efforts. Selling, general, and administrative expenses rose to C$1.61 million, a 20% increase, driven by these strategic investments.

Looking ahead, Delivra remains optimistic about its fiscal 2025 performance, with growth plans supported by heightened marketing and branding initiatives aimed at boosting product distribution and customer reach.

“This balanced approach enables us to support our growth initiatives and keep pace with our strategic goals for fiscal 2025,” Davey added.

Delivra’s portfolio addresses common health issues such as sleeplessness, chronic pain, and anxiety, positioning the company as a key player in the health and wellness sector.
