Blockmate Ventures discusses decentralized computing with Hivello - ICYMI

Blockmate Ventures Inc (TSX-V:MATE, OTCQB:MATEF) earlier this week discussed the launch of a public beta version of Hivello, a decentralized infrastructure application.

Hivello allows users to earn passive income by sharing computer resources such as storage, IP addresses, CPUs, and GPUs.

Chairman Domenic Carosa described the app as "Airbnb for your computer," emphasizing its simplicity.

Users only need a connected computer to contribute to a global decentralized network, which addresses the growing demand for AI training infrastructure.

Carosa highlighted that no technical knowledge or upfront costs are required.

The company noted significant interest in the platform, with nearly 30,000 people on the waitlist and thousands of nodes already running before any marketing efforts.

Hivello is valued at over C$20 million, and Blockmate Ventures holds a majority stake of just over 50%.

Carosa pointed out that Hivello's revenue-sharing model minimizes risks for users while offering a potentially substantial income stream. "The opportunity is almost endless," he said, referencing millions of unused laptops and desktops worldwide.

Hivello is also in the midst of a capital-raising initiative to accelerate growth.

Blockmate Ventures expects further development and adoption of the platform as promotional efforts begin.
