Foresight Solar Fund Ltd (LSE:FSFL) has announced changes to its board of directors as part of its succession planning efforts.
Tony Roper and Paul Masterton have been appointed as independent non-executive directors, effective November 21.
These appointments coincide with the departure of Monique O'Keefe from the board.
"The appointments of Tony and Paul are part of the board's succession plan and allow for a smooth handover as directors rotate off,” Foresight Solar chair Alexander Ohlsson said in a statement.
“The first step of that process was Monique stepping down. On behalf of the board, I'd like to thank her for commitment and contribution as a director and wish her all the best in her endeavours.
"Tony and Paul bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will be invaluable to oversee the execution of Foresight Solar's income and growth strategy and to support its development.
“I'm delighted to have them on the board and we look forward to working with them.”
Roper brings three decades of experience in infrastructure investments, having worked with John Laing, HSBC and InfraRed Capital Partners. He is currently the chair of abrdn European Logistics Income Plc and SDCL Energy Efficiency Income Trust PLC (LSE:SEIT).
Masterton has been a director and chair for 16 years, with expertise spanning finance, infrastructure, and property development. His executive career includes CEO roles in the printing and communications industries across multiple continents.
Lynn Cleary will take over as chair of the Nomination Committee, while Paul Masterton will lead the Remuneration Committee.
