Zero Candida Technologies sets date to begin trading on TSX Venture Exchange

Zero Candida Ltd (TSX-V:ZCT) is set to begin trading its shares on the TSX Venture Exchange at market opening on November 25, it said in a release.

The company recently completed the acquisition of Zero Candida Ltd (TSX-V:ZCT), an Israeli private company specializing in the development of an innovative AI-powered tampon-like device designed to treat Candidiasis.

Zero Candida now has over 19.5 million common shares issued and outstanding.

The company's technology aims to revolutionize the treatment of Candidiasis with an AI-driven device that not only delivers therapy via a light source but also provides real-time medical data to healthcare providers through Wi-Fi connectivity. The device uses a combination of therapy light and a transparent gel-based drug delivery system to maintain the optimal pH level in the vagina. Clinical tests have shown that when used overnight, the device can eliminate more than 99.9% of Candidiasis within three nights.

Since the development of the first prototype in May 2022, Zero Candida has progressed rapidly. In September 2023, the company completed pre-clinical animal studies and is currently refining the device design while continuing its validation process.

Zero Candida aims to secure "Fast Track" approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Class II De Novo device.

It recently received a report on its pre-clinical safety study, confirming no abnormal findings or safety concerns related to its blue light illumination technology.
