Hillcrest Energy Technologies Ltd (CSE:HEAT, OTCQB:HLRTF) announced that it is expanding its partnership with Ocean Batteries, initially established in June 2024, to include EV chargers and onboard marine energy storage systems alongside their current focus on onshore marine energy storage.
The company said the collaboration will leverage Hillcrest's Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technology to develop ultra-efficient, reliable solutions for the marine and EV sectors.
The expanded partnership aims to address growing customer demand for flexible and powerful energy solutions.
It is expected that terms will be finalized in early 2025, followed by pilot testing of Hillcrest’s ZVS inverter.
"Expanding our partnership with Ocean Batteries would allow us to work together to directly address pressing needs from their customers for more flexible, efficient, and powerful energy solutions," Hillcrest CEO Don Currie said in a statement.
"We expect Hillcrest's ZVS technology, coupled with Ocean Batteries' expertise in marine applications, to enable the development of groundbreaking products that align with the evolving energy requirements of both the marine and EV sectors."
